Baby its cooold out side =) All time favorite Christmas song, and favorite holiday coming right up! Nice cold front that came in last night, perfect surprise to my Friday morning! 

Had the time to sketch yesterday, and I got to thinking, I've never drawn a baby... so I did. All you Mommies out there want sketches of your little babe?! Email me for pricing ;)

Tire swings remind me of life, the fun, and the spontaneity of if you're going to hit the tree or some obstacle that would disturb the plan of direction.  The fact that what you are swinging on is only made possible because of the tree that grew for so many years. If only to give you this simple pleasure in life, no matter what your age. 

Dance! Let the wind be your music, let the grass be in lead. Just relax, no one is watching, no one but yourself. 

Mistakes will be made, accept them and move on. Try not to get stuck in the past, or you will miss out on the most important thing you have, your life.

I've got an etsy account now, one of my friends agreed to help me take pictures of my art. Need some good unique pictures to help people "want" my paintings. Feeling kind of uninspired today, don't really want to do anything.. at all =)

Day one

Joining the world of blogging! 

I bought a sketch book the other day, yes I was an artist without a sketchbook, sad...I want to get back into drawing again, teaching myself to use watercolor. I think I'm kinda falling in love. It gives me a chance to get back in touch with my imagination, oh how I have missed you. Please come back at full speed!

Mailing an order for my Aunt today, 4 goblet wine glasses I painted for her, special order. They turned out awesome I hope she is as happy with them as I was to paint them for her. I must say I am in a pretty good place in my life right now, I don't feel any restrictions. Though I am broke, and a full time student with 5 classes, and am jobless, I am the happiest I have ever been. You know why?... because of me, my decisions have gotten me where I am today, others have helped me get here, but it is because of my decisions whether they be set backs, or helped me move forward, they have brought me to this place, this state of happiness I hope never leaves.
